The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling. In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home. 1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience. The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of a button. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned. This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better. The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models. iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price. Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad. The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling cleaning robot mop and vacuum up only takes two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt. In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on whenever it comes across one. What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something needs attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a full dust bin. You can also create and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's items that need to be removed frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could wish for. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects. The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7. This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty. The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path. The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want. The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving around the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles. On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children. The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops also work well and remove 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
